the first thing id do if i met gawain would be to ask him about Euripides’ first prize winning lost play Alcmaeon in Corinth which was likely still extant when gawain was studying in rome in like 500 ad. i want to know how comedic the tone actually was and what parts of the myths the plot covered. the second thing i would do is shove him in front of a moving car
